I am so lucky, I won the shawl pin that Kathy B at Irish Eyes Knitters was giving away. I hardly ever win anything so this was a boost to my week :-). Thank you Kathy.

I am diligently working on socks, no faster but steady. These are a birthday present so they have to be completed by the 4th of July. . .

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to nothing but knitting, tomorrow my plans include cleaning the upstairs and making room for a new couch and Sunday, I want to babecue some skirt steak, work in the back yard and knit!
