Thank you all for the suggestion to call in sick. I did :-) but still haven’t picked up my needles. grrrr
1. The last band I saw live was Stockbridge High School Marching Band (isn’t that sad).
2. What I look forward to most on Thanksgiving is the people I love gathered together, with no pressure to get the perfect gift.
3. My Christmas/holiday shopping is not even started.
4. Thoughts of sugar plums fill my head.
5. I wish I could wear a size 10 (sometimes).
6. Bagpipes are so very cool.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to knitting and sleeping, tomorrow my plans include hitting Lane Bryants for a new coat and knitting and Sunday, I want to get the last of my groceries for Thanksgiving, clean up a little and knit!

Stockbridge, Ga? You sound like you were somewhat around my part of Ga.
I think the last band I saw live was the Commodores almost thirty years ago....sad doesn't even describe it.
I work for myself (freelance writer) so if I called in sick, I would know I was lying.
Sounds like a good weekend ... knitting, sleeping, and a bit of shopping. I say skip the cleaning. :-)
Lucky! I wish I could do that this weekend. I have to clean and keep my baby sister (well, she's technically 14... but I say it's debatable due to the way she acts!) entertained while my other 2 sisters go out shopping for her birthday, not to mention college coursework!
I have to agree with #2 - it's my favorite thing, too!
I have 'ruined' #2 by having a birthday around thanksgiving (24th) and a cousin with a birthday ON THE SAME DAY (a year apart) So this year the families are coming together for thanksgiving - Is it weird that I feel like I need to have gifts for the whole family instead of just my cousin, even if it's MY birthday too?!
